Mathijs Burgler (Groningen, 1998) is a filmmaker from the Netherlands.
He completed the bachelor program Photography, Film & the Digital with honours from St. Joost, School of Art & Design in 2025. Before graduation he studied filmmaking, colorgrading and the relationship between image and sound under Takashi Makino in Japan.
His interests lie in landscape, immersiveness and analog production methods.
Currently he is in training to become a 35mm film operator.
